MOPS of Rome, NY

MOPS is a group for women with young children (birth-kindergarten). We also have a designated discussion table for women with children over age 5! We celebrate the joys of motherhood and encourage each other through the challenges. MOPS is a group of women who have at least one child from birth through Kindergarten. We meet twice a month on Wednesday mornings from 9:45-11:45 at Rome Alliance Church in Rome. Our meetings include breakfast, speakers, discussion groups, outreach projects, MOPS DVD teachings, and crafts. Each table is made up of 5-7 moms along with a Mentor Mom that leads the table. During the meetings, children are cared for in our "MOPPETS" program by loving, caring childcare workers. They do crafts, have a snack, and watch a video lesson, while playing and making new friends. The motto of MOPS is ‘Better moms make a better world’ and our goal is to help you grow to be the best mom you can be. Come join us!
